What to do if an insured event occurs abroad?

Today we will talk about what needs to be done and how to behave in case of an insured event in any country in the world, be it Poland, Germany, Israel or any other.

In most developed countries, assistance is provided primarily to insured people, so be sure to purchase travel insurance when traveling abroad.

What is an insured event?

An insured event is any accident that occurs unexpectedly to the insured person and the insured person suffers some kind of injury.

In simple words, everything that happened after a while after it was good (unexpectedly) is considered an insured event (illness, fracture, bruise).

However, there are exceptions to the concept of an insured event. So, any chronic diseases, the provision of full-fledged dental care (only relieve pain) and so on will not be covered.

Basic actions in case of an insured event

First of all, it is necessary to inform the insurance company about the insured event by calling the phone number indicated in the insurance without delay. The insurance company often has a viber, for the convenience of communication between the client and the insurance company.

Further, the insurance company will refer you to the nearest clinic (if you are able to move) or call a doctor at home (if the condition is serious).

The company pays for treatment directly abroad, that is, you do not have to pay for assistance. If you still have a desire to pay on your own, then you need to collect all checks and referrals from doctors for reimbursement on the territory of Ukraine.

We take care of our clients from the moment of insurance to the moment of full recovery, providing material assistance in every possible way for treatment in case of an insured event.
